DELIRIUM
THE THIRD STUDIO ALBUM - 2015
STEP INTO THE LIGHT
ABOUT THE ALBUM
Released in 2015, Delirium was Ellie Goulding's boldest step into mainstream pop. Moving away from the darker sound of Halcyon, the album blends polished electronic production with powerful vocals and huge euphoric choruses. The album explores love, friendship and vulnerability. Delirium introduced a more confident side of Ellie while still retaining the emotion that is at the heart of her music.

SINGLES AND MUSIC VIDEOS
ON MY MIND
Released in September 2015, On My Mind was the lead single of the Delirium era. The song introduced a bold new pop sound from Ellie. With its infectious guitar riff, modern electronic production and instantly memorable chorus, the song explores being unable to stop thinking about someone after a complicated relationship. The song peaked at number 5 on the UK singles chart and number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
ARMY
Army was released as the second Delirium single in the UK, with Something In The Way You Move being released as the second single in the US. Army is a heartfelt tribute to Ellie's closest friend, Hannah. Its emotional lyrics celebrate the comfort and strength found in a friendship where someone truly understands you. The track is one of the more personal songs on the album and became another top 20 hit in the UK.
SOMETHING IN THE WAY YOU MOVE
Released as the second single from Delirium in the US, Something In The Way You Move is an irresistibly catchy track with an energetic upbeat chorus that perfectly reflects the album's bright pop sound. The song reached number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
